The Mobridge City Council approved several change orders on the water treatment plant rehabilitation projects at their regular meeting Wednesday night (November 13th). Jerod Klabunde of Moore Engineering was present at the meeting to explain the need for all the changes in the projects; one of them being moving the completion date from September 2025 to March 2026, due to unexpected equipment delays. They also approved City Administration and the Waste Water Superintendent to be able to authorize change orders between meetings for any ongoing project. Finance Officer and City Administrator Heather Beck read the motion made by Councilperson Jade Mound.
Klabunde said this authorization will help move the projects along.
