NOVEMBER 20, 2024:
A High Wind Warning that’s been in effect since Tuesday in much of central and western South Dakota ends Wednesday (Nov. 20, 2024) at 6pm CT.
Weatherology meteorologist Paul Trambley says the northwest winds have registered some big gusts.
Trambley says wind gusts weren’t as strong to the east of Pierre and Fort Pierre, but there were some strong gusts south of us.
As for what’s causing the blustery conditions, Trambley says– once again– it’s a weather front up in Canada.
