Stanley County bounced back strong after a tough Tuesday loss to Winner with a dominant 64-30 victory over the Philip Scotties this evening. The Buffs had a tough night shooting earlier this week, so a determined bunch came out ready to light up the scoreboard, and they did just that. Jumping out to a 25-9 lead in the first half, the Buffs had no intentions of slowing down wanting to find a rhythm in their final game before the holiday break.
On the back of 23-points from Kaden Montana, 10+ from Eddie Duffy and 9 from Paxton Deal, the Buffs improved to 2-1 in the early going of the 2024 campaign. Maybe the only thing sweeter than bringing home the victory was the Travelling Trophy that will also be making the short trip back to Fort Pierre. A fun addition to this backyard rivalry, the Scotties have had the honor of holding it in their gym the past few years. But it now gets to stay in Parkview Auditorium until these two face and it is up for grabs again.
