But, as had been the case multiple times so far this year, the Lady Tigers were outscored in the second half. This time, it was too much to overcome, as Lakota Tech outpaced them 45-19 in the final two quarters. Tatanka junior Shania Ferguson led the game in scoring, she tallied 26 points, with four three-pointers. With the rest of the starting lineup in foul trouble, Lakota Tech had two bench players with double figures. Junior Layla Janis had 12, and freshman Peyton Knife scored 11. For Mobridge-Pollock, senior Charley Henderson dropped 15. Playing with four fouls, junior Tegan Konold had 12 points. Lakota Tech improves to 4-2 they play Hot Springs next. That gave them a 29-23 lead at the break, which continued to grow as they outscored Lakota Tech by 8 more in the second half. Sophomore Easton Eisemann starred again for the Tigers, he led all players in scoring with 18 points.
