The Tigers secured their fifth win on the season thanks to a night to remember from Shane Henderson. Finishing with a double-double, Henderson scored an impressive 21-points and had 16 total boards. Henderson also registered five blocks, all three categories were season highs for the senior captain.
After taking a 19-12 lead in the first quarter, it felt like Mobridge might hold onto this one convincingly. But, Landon Larson, who finished with 23, and the Battlers quietly stuck around, matching the offensive output the Tigers were producing. Potter County was able draw the deficit within two at one point in the third quarter, but 18-points from Shooter Frederick and 14 from Kale Knudson would prove to be too much for the Battlers as they would drop this game to Mobridge-Pollock 72-56.
Potter County falls to 2-6 on the season while the Tigers improve to 5-2.
