Estimate shows fewer acres planted to winter wheat in South Dakota

Winter wheat seeded area in South Dakota for 2025 is estimated at 790,000 acres, down from last year’s seeded area of 860,000 acres, according to the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service.
