Walworth County Commission meeting 01-21-25

At Tuesday’s (January 21st) meeting of the Walworth County Commission, the board passed a motion to appoint IMEG Engineering Consultants to be the County’s bridge inspectors.

The commissioners also approved two travel requests for Highway Superintendent Tom Hannan – a weed and pest conference in Huron in February with Tanner Dryer, and also a spring meeting in Deadwood in March.

For the Sheriff’s office the commission approved the Brule County jail contract for adult holding at $74.00 per day.

After an executive session regarding personnel, the board passed a motion made by Commissioner Scott Schilling not to give an extra $3200 to the state’s attorney.
