In the women’s game yesterday afternoon, the lady Coyotes held their own against a red hot SDSU squad. The start of this game looked promising for USD as they got out to a 17-6 lead in the first quarter, but a 25-point second by the Lady Jacks got things tied up at 31 going into the half.
The second half belonged to SDSU, outscoring USD in both the third and fourth quarter to go onto win 71-61. The Jacks improve to 23-3 on the season, Coyotes fall to 11-16.
