Pierre School District holding Kindergarten orientation meetings this evening

The three public elementary schools in the Pierre School District are holding Kindergarten orientation this evening (Feb. 25, 2025) at 5:30pm.

Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt encourages all parents or guardians with a Kindergarten age child to attend.

Glodt says the district is transitioning away from the half-day Junior Kindergarten option at Buchanan and moving toward all day Early Kindergarten.
