The warm weather is rolling in and bringing baseball season with it. The Twins hope to make a push at the postseason and it all begins Thursday afternoon.
The Twins open up the season on the road with the St. Louis Cardinals on Thursday at 3:15 PM for the first of a three-game series. After wrapping up with the Cardinals, the Twins stay on the road against the Chicago White Sox for another three-game series before coming back home for their home Opening Day against the Houston Astros.
The Twins will have three afternoon games against the Astros, game one on Thursday starting at 3:10 followed by two 1:10 starts before going back on the road for another road-trip.
The Twins are poised to get Byron Buxton going early, as he has had a decent bat in Spring Training, but will be without INF’s Brock Stewart and Brooks Lee who will open the season on the IL. Stay tuned to the DRG Media Group Sports page for updated scores and reports on the Twins all season long!
