State prison offender Brian Wright died this week

South Dakota State prison offender Brian Wright has died.

Wright, age 54, passed away at the Mike Durfee State Prison in Springfield March 24, 2025.

He was serving a 48-year sentence from Pennington County for sexual contact with a child under the age of 16.
