One of Pierre’s best basketball players to come through the program will be continuing her collegiate career, and she will be signing her letter of intent tomorrow (4/3) at the Riggs High School library at 2:30 PM.
After being a second team All-State selection a year ago, DuPris finished the season as a first team All-State selection after averaging 18.6 ppg, 6.6 rebounds, and 4.8 assists along with 68 steals. DuPris helped lead the Governors to the State Tournament this year in a season surrounded by uncertainty. DuPris also reached the 1,000 point mark in her final home game against Harrisburg in front of a sold out crowd.
Lennix credits a lot of her success to her coaching staff led by HC Kirk Beebout, but also says her uncle Terry DuPris was a huge part as well. Lennix will join the Players Perspective podcast to recap the season, talk hoops and look ahead to the continuation of her career at the collegiate level.
