Back in 2022, Bill Murray was working on a movie called “Being Mortal”, which was being directed by Aziz Ansari. And he did something to a female crew member that got it CANCELED.
Well, Bill still doesn’t think what he did was that bad. He says, quote, “I was wearing a mask, and I gave her a kiss, and she was wearing a mask.
“It wasn’t like I touched her, but it was just, I gave her a kiss through a mask. And she wasn’t a stranger.”
He adds, quote, “I certainly thought it was light. I thought it was funny. To me it’s still funny, the idea that you could give someone a kiss with a mask on. It’s still stupid. It’s all it was.”
It still bothers him that everything came to a halt the way it did. Quote, “There was no conversation, there was nothing. There was no peacemaking, nothing . . . [I don’t] go too many days or weeks without thinking [about it].”
