The Stanley County School District has been awarded a $25,000 grant to refurbish the current band and choir rehearsal room.
The 2025 Casey’s Cash for Classrooms grant will help fund a renovation that will include new electrical work, carpeting, acoustic tiles and various other upgrades to better serve band and choir students. The improved band room will offer enhanced acoustics, better organization and increased comfort, creating an inspiring space for students to rehearse.
Tina England, Stanley County 6-12 music teacher, says she’s grateful for the grant and “excited to complete this important update that will improve our students’ ability to learn and excel at Stanley County School each day.” She says Casey’s is a great community partner that gives back to many schools through this program.
Director of PR and Communications at Casey’s Katie Petru says the Cash for Classrooms program enables the company to provide meaningful impact for schools in the areas they serve.
