Corn planted was 7%, near 3% last year, and ahead of 1% for the five-year average.
Winter wheat condition rated 12% very poor, 29% poor, 45% fair, 14% good, and 0% excellent.
Spring wheat planted was 50%, ahead of 38% last year, and well ahead of 27% average. Emerged was 6%, near 5% both last year and average.
Oats planted was 59%, ahead of 43% last year, and well ahead of 29% average. Emerged was 8%, near 12% last year and 7% average.
Sorghum planted was 1%, near 3% last year, and equal to average.
