At Tuesday’s (April 22nd) Walworth County Commission meeting, Brooke Karst had a request for a special liquor license to hold a dance at the tennis court in Hoven in June in memory of her brother Travis. Emergency Manager
Walworth County Emergency Manager Jeff Jensen updated the commissioners on the State radio issue. He said the State wants the County to secure a location site for a tower and pay the lease fees, so they are closer to finding a solution.
Jensen also brought the County drone to the meeting and talked about its programming and software.
Also for Emergency Management, the commissioners passed a motion to sign a contract with the Edge Event Center in Mobridge to host an IMAT team exercise May 20th through the 22nd. There will be no fees charged because it’s a public safety event.
