Hillsview Golf Club hosted seven schools for an invite yesterday including Pierre, Aberdeen Central, Mitchell, RC Stevens, Yankton, Spearfish, Watertown, Huron and RC Central. The day was dominated by both Aberdeen Central and Mitchell who finished first and second, Aberdeen with a team score of +25 and Mitchell with a team score of +31. Pierre would place seventh with a team score of +102. The full team score below:

In the individual scoring, first place was taken home by Olivia Braun of Aberdeen who shot a blistering -4 67, far and away the best round of the day. Second was held by Gabi Olson of Watertown and Kylie Wirebaugh of Aberdeen who both shot a very impressive +3 74. Mia Larson (Mitchell) and Ellia Homstad (Yankton) finished tied for third with +4 75’s.
For Pierre, Hadley Hart would have the best finish for her squad, shooting an 86 (+15) and finishing sole 16th. Sittie Kasan would place 26th with a 94, and Sierra Prunty broke 100 with a 99. Pierre’s JV golfers would also compete on a windy day in SD, as Katie Reiss shot a 116, Ava Gray three strokes behind with a 119 and Taylor Crawford close behind with a 126.
