Minnesota snapped a four-game losing streak earlier today thanks to some good hitting and solid work on the bump. The Twins had opportunities early, but could not come up with a big hit until the sixth inning when Kody Clemens hit his first home run of the season giving Minnesota a 3-1 lead. Trevor Larnach would drive in Harrison Bader later that inning adding what would prove to be a crucial insurance run.
Boston scored two more in the bottom of the 7th, but the Twins held on to get a win they sorely needed. Bailey Ober earned the win for Minnesota and improved to 4-1 on the season. The Twins will look to win the series on the road tomorrow afternoon at 12:35 PM CT and you can listen live on KGFX 1060 AM or on 103.1 FM in the Pierre area.
