The Govs are coming off a very successful weekend of baseball after taking two from Brookings on the road last Friday, and then splitting a doubleheader with Brandon valley on Saturday. Today, they welcome in Sturgis for two as they pass the midway point of the season. The Govs will be able to finish out their regular season at Hyde field as their next three opponents including Sturgis are all home games.
Today’s first game will get underway around 5 PM with the second game to follow shortly after. Temperatures today will reach a high of 76 with partly cloudy skies, so it will be a perfect afternoon to spend at the ballpark.
