Section of Poplar Avenue in Pierre closed Monday for utility work

Poplar Avenue in Pierre, between Dakota and Missouri Avenues, will close Monday (May 12, 2025) for street construction and minor underground utility work.

Access to the causeway will be maintained via Missouri Avenue.

The City of Pierre maintains more than 80 miles of street.
