There’s nothing lucky about the Twins thirteen game win-streak they are currently in the midst of. They have strung together win after win with great offense and outstanding pitching on the mound. Yesterday may have been their most dominant win of this incredible streak, scoring a run in each of the first six innings, tallying 18 total hits and only allowing three hits from the Brewers. Twins earned another shutout win taking it 7-0 and now looking at a potential sweep this afternoon.
Every hitter in the Twins lineup, excluding Harrison Bader, got a hit yesterday. The best day at the plate came from Ryan Jeffers who went 4-5, and was a triple short of the cycle. On the mound, Pablo Lopez threw 6.0 IP, striking out six.
This streak has catapulted the Twins into second place with a 26-20 record, four games behind Detroit. Today’s game gets underway at 1:10 PM CT on KGFX 1060 AM and 103.1 FM in the Pierre area.
