The Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce will host the five people running for the Pierre City Commission at a candidate forum this evening (May 19, 2025).
All questions from the public must be submitted in writing and there will be an opportunity to write questions down at the forum. The only people who will be allowed to speak during the forum will be the moderator (Mary Duvall) and the candidates.
The Pierre City Commission Candidate Forum will be held in the Community Room at the Chamber office (800 W Dakota Ave.). The doors will open at 5:30pm, with the forum starting at 6pm sharp.
The candidates are (in alphabetical order) incumbent Blake Barringer, John Childs, Kevin Larsen, Robin Lerseth and Matthew Reitzel.
