After a few years of searching for a location, LifeServe Blood Center will be opening a donation center in Pierre.
LifeServe Regional Director Rachel Fernandez says they had a few requirements for the location and they found what they wanted in the Larkspur Landing event center building along the truck route/Garfield Avenue.
Fernandez says those who give blood at LifeServe’s donation center in Pierre will have much the same experience as people have when donating at the LifeServe mobile blood drives, starting with the reception area.
Fernandez says LifeServe hopes to have the Pierre donation center location ready to open sometime in August.

- Blunt, June 12, 2025, from 3-5:40pm at Oahe Electric Co-Op (102 S. Canford Street)
- Pierre/Fort Pierre, June 26, 2025, from 1-5:20pm at the Pierre First United Methodist Church gym (117 N. Central Ave.)
