Fort Pierre tree and grass maintenance reminder

The City of Fort Pierre is reminding residents to maintain their property by trimming your trees and mowing your yard on a regular basis.

Fort Pierre ordinance says property owners are responsible for cleaning up their property as well as all abutting public right-of-way areas. Any owner of lot or tract of land in Fort Pierre that fails to keep weeds and grass less than 10 inches high, will receive a bill each time the town has to do the maintenance.
