Over the weekend, high school rodeo athletes competed in Kadoka, Wall, Buffalo, and Huron for the River, Northwest, Southwest and East region rodeo tournaments. This was the first of two weekends where high schoolers from around the state will be trying to qualify for the State Rodeo coming up June 17-21. Below are the results from each region. This weekend, there will be more regional rodeos throughout the state taking place June 13-15.
Northwest region will be held in Dupree, Southwest region will be held in New Underwood, River region will be held in Winner and the Eastern region will be competing in Watertown. After regions wraps up, those who qualify will compete in the State Rodeo June 17-21 which will be held in Fort Pierre, SD. Below you can click to see each regions results by clicking the blue links:
