Stanley County Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Buff Nation and the Stanley County Booster Club would like to invite you to a competitive 3 on 3 boys and men’s basketball tournament FUNDRAISER on Sunday June 22nd, 2025, at Parkview Auditorium in Ft. Pierre, South Dakota. This is also Oahe Days Weekend in Pierre and the Stanley County All School Reunion. The focus of this event is to bring young men together to build connections through sportsmanship and the Gospel of Jesus.
This will be a 4 Division Tournament; Incoming 7th & 8th grade, Incoming Freshman & Sophomore, Incoming Junior & Senior, and a Men’s Division. Divisions will be LIMITED to the FIRST 12 TEAMS per Division. Teams will be Guaranteed 3 games. Divisions will be Pool Play with teams advancing to a bracketed Tournament. Teams will be limited to a maximum of 5 players. Players can only play on one team. Players can play up in a Division but can not play down in a Division. Teams must have same color of jerseys / shirts. $100 entry fee per team.
Games will be 15 minute running clock or first team to 21, whatever comes first. A coin toss will determine who gets first possession. Each basket inside the arc will be 1 point and 2 points outside the arc. The ball must be cleared/checked at the X on top of the key, beyond the 3 point line after each basket or gained possession from rebound, block or steal. Teams must pass of the X to start the possession with no dribbling from the X. Fouls- Non-Shooting fouls will be recheck at the X. Shooting Fouls will be 1 free throw attempt with made free throws being 1 point. Possession will change after made free throws.
Each player on each roster will have his name entered into door prize drawings. Door prizes will consist of Flat Screen TV, Mini-Fridge, Apple Air Pods and Gift Cards.
There will also be a 3 point competition and dunk contest for the first 20 athletes who sign up in each competition. Sign up by sending email to briankzeeb7@gmail.com. $10 fee for the 3 point and dunk competition will be collected at the door. Each competition winner will get a gift card for new pair of basketball shoes.
After pool play, there will be a session where players will hear a short message about the Gospel, Faith in Sports and being a Leader with a strong foundation. Also during this session, we will have the finals of the 3 point competition and dunk competition, along with door prize give aways. We will then transition into Division Bracket Play to finish out the day.
All players will sign a waiver form prior to playing or participating.
Team Permission and Release: I give permission, on behalf of the players and their parents, for the players to play in this tournament and other competitions such as 3 point challenge and dunk challenge. I understand that FCA Stanley County, Stanley County School District, Buff Nation, and the Stanley County Booster Club all organizers, members and volunteers have no responsibility, assume none and do not carry accident insurance for the the benefit of players. By participating in this tournament and other activities, players, coaches, parents, and guardians of players waive all claims of any injury or lost and stolen property which may occur while participating at this event.
Spectators $5 at the door and $10 family unit. Concessions available onsite.
