Weather permitting, the City of Pierre will begin repairing part of Taylor Avenue today (June 12, 2025).
The work will take place on Taylor Avenue between Park Street and Sully Avenue. Park and Sully will remain open and will not be affected by the closure.
The city maintains more than 80 miles of streets. During this construction season, the city is repairing, rebuilding, or otherwise improving about 180 blocks of streets.
