“Wicked” won Favorite Movie at the Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday. Sabrina Carpenter took home three awards, including Favorite Song for “Taste”.
The 38th annual Kids’ Choice Awards aired Saturday on Nickelodeon with host Tyla and 5,000 gallons of SLIME. The kids have SPOKEN.
Surprisingly, despite all the “chicken jockey” mayhem in theaters, “A Minecraft Movie” didn’t take home Favorite Movie. It went to “Wicked”. Jack Black won Favorite Movie Actor though, and Ariana Grande won Favorite Movie Actress.
Here are some of the other winners:
SZA and Bruno Mars won Favorite Female and Male Artist, and the K-pop group Stray Kids won Favorite Music Group. Sabrina Carpenter’s “Taste” won Favorite Song. (Uh, I’m no prude, but those lyrics aren’t very kid-friendly.)
Sabrina also took home Favorite Female Breakout Artist and Favorite Album for “Short n’ Sweet”. Benson Boone got Favorite Male Breakout Artist. Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco won Favorite Viral Song for “Bluest Flame”.
