Wednesday morning fire at Silver Spur put out quickly

A small fire was quickly extinguished at a restaurant in Fort Pierre Wednesday morning (July 9, 2025).

Volunteer Fire Department Chief John Luce says they responded around 7:30am to the Silver Spur where there was a fire in a storage room.

Luce says thankfully the fire had NOT gotten into the walls.

There were no injuries.
