South Dakota Governor Larry Rhoden is making stops in Philip, Wall, Midland and at the 1880 Town today (July 10, 2025) as part of his Open for Opportunity tour.
Rhoden will highlight the state’s rich history by visiting Midland and 1880 Town– the state’s oldest town. In Philip, he will tour Scotchman Industries, a leading manufacturer of hydraulic ironworker and saw machines.
While in Wall, Rhoden will make a few different stops. He’ll spend time at Wall Meats Processing, the world-famous Wall Drug and the Wall Celebration Days Rodeo.
