51st Annual South Dakota Governors Cup Results

The weekend saw the 51st Annual SD Governors Cup held in a mix of overcast and rain with peaks of sunshine, along with some patented wind. But that did not mean the fish were not biting! Taking first place was Beau Schilling and Ben Beadle, who blew away the competition with a weight of 61.51, separating themselves from the pack by over thirteen pounds. Second was taken by Samantha and Chad Schilling who brought in a total weight of 48.30. In close third was Jackson Hilton and Jack Oberg who brought in a total weight of 48.12. The weekend also saw the 2nd Annual SD Lieutenant Cup Kids Fishing Tournament, helping to grow the sport for the younger generations ahead.
