One of the best times of the year for young baseball fans is currently taking place across the country and across the world. Every summer, little league baseball teams go through countless tournaments trying to make it to the ultimate stage, the Little League World Series. South Dakota’s representative (Sioux Falls) faced elimination today against Nebraska in the Midwest Regional after suffering a crushing loss to North Dakota just a day ago, losing 5-4 on some untimely errors. Facing the potential final game of their dream run, South Dakota got the 3-1 victory earlier this afternoon over Nebraska, and will now get the rematch they were hoping for tomorrow against ND.

The winner of tomorrow’s Midwest Championship game will then move onto the big stage, the Little League World Series in Williamsport. Making it to the LLWS is a dream that tens of thousands of young baseball players have but only a few get to say they accomplished. The game will air on ESPN and will get underway at 12:00 PM CT.
