Severe drought conditions remain in Lyman, Brule, Buffalo counties

Not much change in the weekly South Dakota Drought Monitor.

The data, which is updated each Thursday, shows roughly 68% of the state is completely drought-free.

However, small parts of Lyman, Brule and Buffalo counties are the driest in the state. It puts those areas in D-2, or severe drought conditions.
