The latest additions to the Stanley County Buffaloes brand new football/track and field complex were in the form of a new press box alongside a new concession and ticketing area. The turf was installed in time for the Buffaloes first helmet-only practice a little over a week ago, and they had relocated the scoreboard to the far side of the endzone where the new bleachers will be erected. They have also installed state-of-the-art clocks that will show the play clock for the quarterbacks, coaches and officials. In year’s past, the officials would have to manually keep the play clock and signal when it went under :10. That will not be the case moving forward in 2025.
Along with the new additions to the football/track and field complex, they also added a stylish new wrap to the front of Parkview Auditorium which will assist in blocking the sunlight from bleeding through onto the basketball court. All of the additions pictured below.
The Buffaloes start their football season on the road at Hill City on August 22nd before coming home to unveil their new facilities on August 29th against Parkston. You will be able to listen and watch Stanley County football on KGFX all season long.
