605 Statewide Virtual Hiring Event being held Wednesday; Registration is required and early registration is recommended

The South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulation is hosting a statewide virtual hiring event Wednesday (Aug. 20, 2025) from 2-5pm CDT/1-4pm MDT.

This virtual “Kick-Off Your Career” event offers job seekers the opportunity to meet with employers from throughout the state, learn about open positions and engage directly with company representatives. For businesses, the event is an opportunity to increase brand awareness, connect with a broad candidate pool and interact with potential employees in real time.

Registration is required for both job seekers and businesses. To register, visit https://dlr.sd.gov/localoffices/hiring_events/virtual.aspx, locate the Statewide Virtual Hiring Event, and click the appropriate registration link. Early registration is encouraged to access user guides and resources on the virtual platform before the event.

This hiring event is offered free of charge for both job seekers and businesses. The virtual format streamlines the hiring process, saving time and resources for all parties involved.

The next 605 Statewide Virtual Hiring Event will be held Oct. 15.
