The Endangered Missing Advisory issued Saturday morning (Aug. 23, 2025, at 6:30am) for a 16 year old girl from Fort Pierre has been cancelled.
The Advisory concerning Alyssa Marie Fortner was cancelled as of 4:45pm Monday. No other information was released.

Aug. 23, 2025:
An Endangered Missing Advisory was issued Saturday morning (Aug. 23, 2025, at 6:30am) for a 16 year old girl from Fort Pierre.
Alyssa Marie Fortner was last seen late Friday night (Aug. 22, 2025, at 11:30pm) in Fort Pierre. She was last seen with an unknown adult Native American female in a dark gray or black, 4 door sedan, possibly a Chevy. The vehicle had a rear tail light out on the passenger’s side. The license plate number is unknown.
Fortner removed all of her possessions from her home, but did not take her required medication with her. Her cell phone was turned off.
Alyssa Fortner is described as being white, 5’6” tall, 180 pounds, with hazel eyes, brown hair and wearing glasses.
Anyone who sees her or knows her whereabouts is asked to call their local law enforcement.
