It was a tough week one for both Faith and Jones County football as the Coyotes were handed a 42-6 loss at the hands of Bennett County, and Faith were shutout by Herreid-Selby Area 50-0. On a short week after Friday’s losses, both teams search for their first win in Thursday night matchup on KPLO. A year ago, both Jones County and Faith found themselves in this exact scenario when both teams entered the game at 0-1. Jones County had fallen to Bennett County 32-12. Faith also lost to Herreid-Selby Area in 2024 46-8.
In 2024, the Coyotes got the best of Faith in a commanding 52-4 blowout, and Jones County hopes for the same outcome tonight.
