The Pierre-Fort Pierre Exchange Club is displaying the United States and South Dakota flags across the Missouri River Bridge Monday (Sept. 1, 2025) in observance of Labor Day.
Midwest Construction and Development sponsors the display.
Also, Boy Scout Troop 27 is posting flags in front of Pierre businesses that have purchased a flag contract with the Exchange Club.
Since the early 1980s, the Pierre-Fort Pierre Exchange Club and Boy Scout Troop 27 have partnered to post flags outside sponsoring businesses. The Pierre-Fort Pierre Exchange Club meets the first and third Tuesdays of each month at noon at Jake’s.
