Pierre Cross Country had a good showing in some tough conditions yesterday out in Aberdeen. It was a very hot day, wind gusts making it a bit more manageable, yet also providing another variable for the runners to deal with. However, from top to bottom, the Governors showed that their preparation would help overcome the conditions to have a successful day.
At the Varsity level, Govs Emery Larson and Gwen Richter took first and second while two other Governors placed in the top ten.

On the varsity boys side, the Govs had two runners crack the top eight with Caleb Morris placing fourth with a time of 15 minutes flat. In eighth, Daniel Mason finished with a time of 18:06
In JV, Larissa Renemans took first in the 4,000 meter with a time of 16:48 while Jaclyn Richter took second with a time of 18:03. On the boys side, CJ Moses placed second with a time of 15:24, one second behind him placing third was Ryker Parmley.
For the middle school results, Pierre placed first through fifth, and placed seven girls in the top eight. Below is the full list of times and finishes:
