It’s that time of year again— hunters are heading to the Pierre/Fort Pierre area, and the Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce wants to give them the warmest welcome possible.
The Pierre Area Chamber is holding a Rooster Rush Storefront Decorating Contest and businesses are encouraged to show off their pheasant season blaze orange and Fall season themed storefront. The entry deadline is Oct. 9, 2025. Enter by emailing mpanzer@pierre.org. The contest is free to enter.
Chamber staff and Rudy the Pheasant will take photos of the storefronts Oct. 14, with voting happening on the Chamber’s Facebook page Oct. 15-17. The winner will be announced Oct. 17.
