Pierre Volunteer Fire Department holding annual Fire Safety Showcase from 5:30-7:30pm today

As part of National Fire Prevention Week, the Pierre Volunteer Fire Department is holding its annual Fire Safety Showcase today (Oct. 9, 2025).

Chief Ian Paul says activities will be take place from 5:30-7:30pm in the parking lot of the Northridge Plaza mall.

This year’s National Fire Prevention Week theme is “Charge into Fire Safety: Lithium-Ion Batteries in Your Home.”
