Five South Dakotans have earned their way onto the 2025 Top 10 Under 40 list compiled by The Cattle Business Weekly newspaper.

The Top 10 is routinely made up of leaders who represent production agriculture, marketing, ag affiliate services, education, research, finance and ag advocacy.

- cattle feeder Patrick Maher, Timber Lake, S.D.;
- Charles and Heather Maude, ranchers at Caputa, S.D.;
- Nick Jorgensen of Jorgensen Land & Cattle, Ideal, S.D.;
- auctioneer, Dan Koupal, Winner, S.D.;
