South Dakota Brand Board releases September 2025 Missing Livestock Report

The South Dakota Brand Board received reports of stolen cattle last month (Sept. 2025) from seven counties, including Jones, Mellette and Todd counties in the central part of the state.

The South Dakota Brand Board “may pay up to $5000 to any person who provides information leading to the conviction of any person for the crime of stealing livestock which are branded with a registered brand with the board.”
