The intersection of Capitol Avenue and Hathaway Street in Pierre will be closed on Tuesday (Oct. 21, 2025) to allow City crews to repair a storm sewer main.
Weather permitting, the closure will begin around 8:15a.m. and is expected to last through the afternoon. City staff anticipate reopening the intersection by the end of the day, once repairs are complete and the area is safe for travel.
Drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes and use caution near the work zone.
