A man has died in a tractor fire accident in rural Marshall County, South Dakota.
In a social media post, Marshall County Emergency Manager Logan Roehr says first responders were dispatched to a Langford address Friday afternoon (Oct. 24, 2025) at 4:21 p.m., where they discovered the body of the 83 year-old man.
Roehr says investigators determined that, “a farm accident resulted in the start of the fire, and the fire cause is determined to be accidental.”
Responding agencies were the Langford Fire Department, Marshall County Ambulance, Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, Marshall County Coroner, Marshall County Emergency Management, and the South Dakota Fire Marshal’s Office.
Roehr did not release the victim’s name.
