The Pierre School District will dismiss students at 12:30pm Friday (Nov. 14, 2025) to allow staff, students and parents to attend T.F. Riggs High School’s Class 11AA state championship football game in Vermillion, if they would like to.
A send off will be held at 8:35am Friday in the Riggs High School theater lobby. The public is welcome to attend.
All tickets for the game Friday night at the Dakota Dome are general admission, and can be purchased by going to https://www.goyotes.com/tickets and scrolling down and selecting South Dakota High School Football Championships.
- Seats in the “adult section” are $15.
- Seats in the “student section” are $10.
- A child of any age that wants/needs to sit with their parents in the “adult section” will need a $15 adult ticket.
Pierre will be the “visiting team” for this game and will be on the east sideline.
The University of South Dakota is charging a $5 parking fee– cash only– for on campus parking. Also remember:
- USD has a clear bag policy and
- fans will not be allowed onto the playing surface at the conclusion of the game.
