Four more people have successfully completed (Nov. 12, 2025) the Sixth Judicial Circuit’s Drug and DUI Treatment Court program.
Graduate Michael said his drug of choice was methamphetamine and that he’d been behind bars six times because of it. Because of Treatment Court, he said he has a new understanding of how sobriety opens doors and provided him with keys to success.
Graduate Zach said he worked hard to prevent his recovery from getting complicated.
Graduate Jennifer said the root of her problem was in her head.
Jennifer said the most difficult part of Treatment Court for her was focusing on herself.
Graduate Dylan said he didn’t think his problem was “all that bad,” but other people did.
According to the state Unified Judicial System, since the Treatment Court program began in 2008, 73% of the participants did not commit another felony within the first five years following their involvement– thus breaking their cycle of addiction and incarceration.
