Man found near I-29 exit at South Dakota-North Dakota border

The Roberts County Sheriff’s Office says a man was discvoered this morning (Nov. 17, 2025) along Interstate 29 near the North Dakota border.

Sheriff Tyler Appel says the body of the man was located around 8 a.m. near the on-ramp of Interstate 29 and South Dakota Highway 10 near Dakota Connection Casino. He says the man was airlifted to a Fargo hospital.

The man is believed to be from Fargo. His name is not being released until family can be notified.
