The South Dakota Discovery Center’s annual “Best for Last” fundraiser is Thursday night (Nov. 20, 2025) in Pierre.
Exhibit Hall Manager Allison Graviett-Pfaff says out of 252 possible tickets, there are only a couple dozen left to be sold.
Graviett-Pfaff says the annual Best for Last fundraiser helps keep their doors open and their services affordable and accessible to all learners across South Dakota. Tickets are $125 each and you don’t need to be present to win.
The event is conducted as a reverse raffle, meaning the last ticket drawn wins the $10,000 grand prize. There are many other prizes and food from local restaurants and culinary specialists.
