The Lady Jacks continued their strong play at home Wednesday night against Weber State, earning their 7th win of the season with a 87-56 win over the Wildcats. The Jacks were led in scoring by captain Brooklyn Meyer who scored 19 along with 6 rebounds. Maggie Hartwig dominated the boards tallying 12 rebounds along with 10 points.
The Jacks had five players finish in double-digit points, Madison Mathiowetz, Brooklynn Felchle, Ellie Colbeck, Hartwig and Meyer combined for 60 of the 87 Jacks points.
The Lady Jacks are back on Saturday on the road against Northern Arizona at 3 PM.
Joe Sayler had 20 points in South Dakota State’s 75-62 victory against Northern Arizona on Wednesday.
Sayler also contributed three steals for the Jackrabbits (5-4). Damon Wilkinson scored 13 points while shooting 4 of 6 from the field and 5 for 7 from the line and added five rebounds. Kalen Garry had 11 points.
The Lumberjacks (4-3) were led in scoring by Arne Osojnik, who finished with 16 points. Zack Davidson added 11 points and two steals.
